Rosacea & Redness Treatments

Laser and IPL can both be used to treat Rosacea and Thread Veins.

Both provide an energy source that are specifically targeted to heat the blood vessels in the skin and this shrinks and can destroy them making them less visible.

The wall of the vessel coagulates during the procedure and in the following few days the body will absorb the breakdown products completely eliminating them from the skin.

A patch test is carried out in advance of any treatment to ensure that the procedure is safe.

Results are generally accumulative over the course of a number of treatments although it is common to see some improvement after a single treatment.

Treatments are usually performed every 4 weeks and courses are typically 3-4 sessions. Facial thread veins and leg veins can be successfully treated.
